Bulgur is a cereal derived from durum wheat that has been removed (the shell that protects the seed). then steamed, dried in the sun and then crushed to be consumed.
Bulgur is sometimes confused with semolina (different use and cooking method). Its grain is larger, harder and more consistent in texture in the mouth. There are three different granulometries of bulgur (fine, medium or coarse), each with a specific use.
