Caraway Also known as German cumin or royal cumin.
It bears a strong resemblance to cumin, both in appearance and taste, although its seed is larger and slightly curved. Very common in the gastronomy of the Maghreb and essential in dishes from Castilla-La Mancha, such as morteruelo or almorta porridge.
It has a spicy flavor and an aroma more similar to anise. Caraway is used for breads, crackers and meat stews.
